Going through EmC allowed the employee to choose to leave on their terms and with a positive relationship with all parties involved. It also helped diffuse a very hostile situation that as a CEO I worried would turn into a liability if I chose to let her go. I am confident that if it were not for EmC the employee would have left on bad terms and we would be at risk of litigation or an employment issue. Very glad we chose to pursue the process!
